Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is my first critique, so bear with me if I do it wrong. The first thing I get from this piece is the emotion. Grub Karkat is uncomfortable, and troll Karkat is a mental/emotional mess. As a viewer, I see and feel that, and I immediately feel for the character.
And for the art itself. The green lighting gives an ominous feel, almost evil. The shading and the way you colored the red tears is also very well done. The tears are a little translucent, as they should be.
All in all, I really like this drawing and the concept behind it.
